The Approved By plugin simply provides a convenient method for you to display a list of sites on your site, that have approved you for PTP. It can also be used for any other list of sites you wish - for example a list of your favourite sites. The Plugin admin area allows you to add entries for sites, together with comments relating to them. You can display lists of the sites in the admin area for easy management, sorted by Site Name, Date Added, or Comments. On your site, you can then display a list of the sites for your members to see.

The plugin is designed to provide you with a way to offer your members an 'instantly' unsubscribe from your site when they wish to (no need to log in). This can improve the professionalism of your image as well as help to ensure you abide by anti-spam legislation. The way it works is you include some special text in the emails you send to members, including a special link. If the member wishes to unsubscribe, they need to simply click the link, then click once again on a confirmation page, and they will immediately have their account changed to canceled status, and a confirmation message will be shown.
