Customisations and upgrading
If I customise the scripts will I still be able to receive the free updates?

Yes, but the impact of this point depends on what you change. The scripts have been designed to be customisable in the way they display pages, and upgrades will not overwrite customisations done according to the prescribed manner (i.e., as detailed in this section). However, if any customisations are made to the actual scripts files (the fils inside the scripts foler or any of its sub-folders), upgrades will overwrite them and you will have to make the customisations again each time after you upgrade.

There is also NO SUPPORT for problems arising from editing the scripts.
