Who We Are

... or perhaps more correctly, that should be "Who I Am", as there is only one of me here :-)

My name is Kevin Martin, and I am an independent web/graphic designer, web developer and writer.  I am 44 years old at the time of writing, was born in Wales in the UK, and am now based in Australia (and have been since before man walked on the moon).  I have a long association with the Cash Crusader Affiliate Marketing Script.  I'll try to get around to providing more biographic information about myself at a later time.

What This Site Does

CCI provides information regarding the Cash Crusader script for those that use it.  Also, through referral to other service providers who I recommend, I am happy to put you in touch with the services and products you need to start and run your own Cash Crusader based site.  It is no secret that with some of those providers, you are quite likely to encounter me while dealing with them directly, as I work for them.

Where This Site Came From

As I said, I've been around Cash Crusader for a long time - as long as anyone in fact, with the exception of the original author, John Orjias.  I identified a long time ago (2004) that there was a shortage of public information available on the subject, and made an agreement with John that I would start a site to provide the relevant resources, and thus CCI was born.  For a long time CCI was also indirectly the avenue for direct support for the script, and clicking the 'support' link inside the script admin would bring you here to CashCrusader.info.  More recently management of the script itself has been outsourced by John to another party, and they have added a helpdesk to their site, CashCrusaderSoftware.com - so that is now the official support point for the script. John now takes very much a 'back seat' role in Cash Crusader matters.

Initially, the site was run as a comunity based around the php-nuke platform, with a separate forum, running on phpBB script.  Then in 2005 I made a decision to actually use CashCrusader as the script platform for CCI.  The idea being to demonstrate that CashCrusader is a very flexible script platform that can be used for purposes beyond its original concept of 'Paid-To-Read Email' etc.  For some people though this did create confusion, so when I decided recently (May 2009) to reinvigorate the site, I decided Iwould move to a new platform, Wordpress.  The forum has also been moved, to bbPress script, which has enabled me to plan for an integrated format with the main site.
